Police are collecting evidence at a Dartmouth home after a body was discovered near Cole Harbour Sunday night.

RCMP and Halifax Regional Police responded to Montague Gold Mines around 10:45 p.m. Sunday.

When they arrived on the scene they discovered the body of a 55-year-old man on the shoulder of Montague Road, not far from where it intersects with Cono Drive.

The man's identity has not been released and police have yet to determine the cause of death.

An autopsy is scheduled for today.
