SYDNEY, N.S. - Police in Cape Breton say one of their members is facing charges of assault and confinement.
Const. Steven Joseph Nagy is facing two assault charges and one of unlawful confinement linked to an incident last August.
Police say it was not related to his professional duties.
The 23-year police veteran is due to appear in Sydney provincial court on Nov. 22.
Nagy remains suspended pending the outcome of the court proceedings.
