RCMP say they want to question a man and a woman in connection with a murder in Westphal, Nova Scotia.

Police received a call that a body had been found at a Montague Road home shortly after midnight on Saturday.

Investigators confirm the body belongs to the homeowner, 58-year-old Paul Livingstone.

An autopsy was performed on Sunday and it confirms Livingstone was killed by a gunshot. Police have ruled his death a homicide and they say the murder was not a random act of violence.

Police say the couple wanted for questioning was seen leaving Livingstone's home Friday morning.

They are looking for a white man and woman, who are both in their late 50s or early 60s. Police say they were driving a beige or brown vehicle at the time.

The woman is also described as being five-foot-four with curly, brown hair that is grey on the sides above her ears.

The man is said to be around five-foot-ten with no facial hair. He may be wearing glasses.

Police are asking anyone with information to contact them.
