Bruce Frisko is one of the Maritime's most popular television personalities. Born in Lestock, Saskatchewan, Bruce started his broadcasting career at CKCK Radio after graduating from the University of Regina in 1990 with a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Communications.

After working in Television in Lethbridge and Edmonton, Bruce moved east in 1995 and began his Maritime career as Co-Anchor for Atlantic Pulse with ASN in Halifax.

Soon after, Bruce took on the role of Anchor/Producer for CTV's Late Night news. In 2003 he added co-host of Live at 5 to his resumé.

Over the years, Bruce has been privileged to cover a number of marquee events including the G7 Summit, Hurricane Juan and a number of provincial elections.

Bruce is always pleased to support the IWK Health Centre, Christmas Daddies and Big Brothers Big Sisters. An unabashed Elvis fan, Bruce has a large collection of the King's music, and is pretty handy in the kitchen: friends say his cabbage rolls are the best!
